Marigolds are an excellent container plant, not requiring much room to thrive and functioning well in pots, window boxes, or hanging baskets. The Durango marigold variety has bright yellow petals with blotches of red, creating a vivid multi-colored display. Growing as a compact, well-branched, early-blooming plant, the 2 - 2.5 inch blooms are dazzling and arise in tremendous numbers on these small, 10 - 12 inch plants.
