Quick Plant Care Tips:

SUNLIGHT: To produce avocados in abundance, plant in an area that receives full sun (6-8 hours a day).

PLANTING: Try to plant between March and June. Dig hole 2x as large as root system, place plant in and cover roots. Tamp soil down, tie tree to garden stake.

WATER: Water young trees enough to be sufficiently hydrated. Afterward, a thorough watering one time a week is generally enough.

PRUNING: Prune the Hass avocado lightly to maintain appearance or to remove damaged branches during first few years. Pruning should be done in spring.
